The President of the Republic of Indonesia appointed the Special Envoy for Tourism to ensure the national tourism agenda moves across ministries in one direction.
In a first statement, the Special Envoy set three early focuses: aligning policy, accelerating priority destinations, and ensuring tourism benefit reaches communities.
