The Special Envoy of the President for Tourism chaired a coordination meeting bringing together the Ministry of Tourism, the Ministry of Transport, the Ministry of Public Works, and the regional governments of five priority destinations.
The meeting agreed a single shared target matrix covering infrastructure deadlines, new air routes, and visitor service standards. The matrix will be monitored every quarter and reported to the President.
The next step is aligning 2027 budgets so each ministry funds the part it owns without duplication.
